The success to any site is building to meet your needs and those of the visitors. We’re looking for a win-win situation. To do this we will need to spend time with you to define the following:

  • Define your goals and objectives – your “Calls to Action”
  • Define your Key Performance Indicators (i.e. “10 enquiries a day”)
  • Define the process that a visitor will need to go through to get to your desired goal
  • Define your primary and secondary customers, a site cannot appeal to everyone equally. What are their needs?
  • Once we have this information, we can start the process of assessing your site based on clear definable goals.

Site data collection
Some answers may be obvious and jump out at us as soon as we look at your site, in this case we’ll pass that information on as quickly as possible, so that you can act upon it. But to really understand what’s going on we’ll analyse your site traffic (your “web stats”, if you have some) to see what visitors are doing on the site (it is most likely that the majority will probably be leaving without getting further than the “Home” page),

Your environment
We’ll do a brief assessment of who you believe to be your online competitors and probably find some others besides these. We’ll see what’s good and bad about what they’re doing and report back where we think you have Strengths or Weaknesses and where the opportunity is.

Site walk through
We’ll then go through your site with a fine tooth comb, to see from a users point of view what the problems are, we’ll look at how visitors are getting to your site in the first place and we’ll then deliver our verdict, together with quantifiable actions so that your developer can work directly from our recommendations.

We don’t just write a report and then leave you to your own devices, we’ll produce something that can be acted on there and then and will make an immediate difference to your business. The report will be written in such a way that your developer can act on and don’t worry we’ll present the findings to your management team and will stay around to advise as necessary.
